This is a custom layered sign our customer had us make for her husband as a birthday gift. 1957 is his birth year. It has 2 colors, in 3 layers, using 4 pieces. The red layer is high gloss. The other layers are matte black.
Layering adds amazing depth to a sign and allows the versatility that a masked approach just can’t offer. For example, individual colors can be changed to fine-tune the entire piece to perfection. Also, LED lighting can be added under foreground layers to illuminate the background layers. Many possibilities!
